Enjoying your first kaiseki in Japan is a unique experience. Gion Shizuka is an ideal place to do it. This restaurant is located by the beautiful canals of Gion, in Kyoto. It has only 10 seats and the atmosphere and aesthetics inside are truly special. The dishes in the kaiseki set are seasonal, balanced and prepared with care in front of you by the Michelin-starred chef Kazumi Sawada and his team. On top of that, they will offer you top quality sake. Here, we tried Junmai Daiginjo "Juyondai" sake 🍶.
